Constant stomach ache, gurgling, wind, can’t eat much - 9 weeks now??

I’ve had a deep kind of constant stomach ache, around belly button and a bit above for 9 weeks now. Lots of gurgling inside and wind. Did have loose stools for weeks but firmed up now (but I am taking a lot of co-codamol which has this effect anyway!)
Can’t eat much as it hurts, probably eating about a third of the food I normally would and only small amounts as it hurts too much. Last night I tried eating a dinner and all night I’ve been awake with my stomach hurting and aching. I notice the aching more at night as I’m trying to sleep. I have lost 12 pounds in weight (I am overweight so doesn’t matter I guess)
GP has done stool samples, blood tests and gallbladder scan all clear, although hasn’t actually examined as all telephone appointments!!
Yesterdays tel app shes now giving me lansoprazole to try for a month (but I don’t have heartburn)?

Any ideas anyone as I’m getting no-where?

Sounds like you need an endoscopy. The weight loss is a bit of a concern.

Hope you feel better soon

God op you sound just like me at the moment, although mine has been following a sickness bug/food poisoning at the end of last week. Not sure, but I was randomly sick a few times (first time in 10 years!) and ever since, I've been bloated, horrid pain upper stomach and abdomen, windy, burping, and unable to eat or drink much at all. Just feel like general crap! No advice as such, just solidarity here! The pain almost feels like that nauseous pain when you're anxious about something impending, but my tummy is also rock hard and tender.

Sorry your suffering it’s horrible isn’t it?
I didn’t have any sickness etc it kind of started out of the blue.
I’m now thinking could it be a food allergy/intolerance but didn’t think they could just happen practically overnight!

Yes she did mention that but wants me to try the medication for a month first!
