Hurry hernia

My 3rd hernia repair has failed. It actually failed a couple of years ago but didn’t cause any problems. Yesterday it started hurting most of the time, and today it’s a bit worse. It’s like right in the belly button, which has stretched a lot in this last couple of days.

I feel fine otherwise, lol etc all ok, whole tummy is a bit bigger generally though (loose trousers tight today). Is this a hurry up to GP or just get an appt at some point. Has anyone had any experience of this?

That happened with my hernia. It was ok but suddenly became painful. I went to gp and was referred to surgery. It was urgent and it only took six weeks until operation

@polmnlj thank you! The surgery is my underlying worry. I’m overweight, have heart problems and a hideously busy job. I don’t have the time or inclination for surgery! 🙈
