Flooding 8 days into period

I have the copper coil so I am used to longer periods. But by this point they are light spotting after being heavy on day 3.

This period is heavy and watery blood (tmi) every time I go to the toilet it is bright red with clots at the bottom of the bowl.

I am so tired. I'm wondering if this is a miscarriage or just a freak period.

Has anyone had this?

I know this was last year but did this settle for you.? I’m having the same and Iv also got a copper coil.

I got the coil taken out in December, I feel much better for it. The nurse said it was quite stuck up there. It actually hurt me when she took it out.

Thank you for getting back. Iv had no trouble with the coil previously.Iv had mine in for 4 years my periods only lasted about 5 days. I came on 5 days early this month and I’m currently on day 6 and I’m still bleeding fresh blood. The first few days I was having clots they have seemed to settled down but don’t understand why I’m still bleeding.
