Prolapse and exercise

Currently 2 weeks postpartum and certain that I have a pelvic organ prolapse, I have an appointment with a pelvic health physio booked for 6 weeks postpartum.

Does anyone have experience of this and (after rehab) has got back to either Crossfit or weightlifting? It's a massive part of my life, has been for many years and the thought of not being ever able to do this again is thoroughly depressing!

Fellow postpartum cross fitter here but no prolapse (had a C-Section)

Completely understand the drive to get back - I've done my first workout at 7 weeks pp today but very scaled still. Telling myself it's not worth rushing back before I'm fully recovered as this is a long term thing. I keep having to remind myself of this...!

Id highly recommend an appt with a specialised womens health physio who can assess and suggest what might help. Would be a bonus if they're also into CrossFit (our gym has a relationship with a local physio so always useful conversations).

I think I'll get some PT from the gym owner before jumping back into classes, I can do a load myself (and a good setup in the garage) but unsure when and how to rebuild core to get back to full press ups/burpees etc.

Hi @HeyBlaby I know this is an old post but I was just wondering how you got on? Did you have a prolapse?
I'm in a similar boat and also a crossfitter and I'll be gutted if I can't go back to it
