vomiting and high fever and crying non stop

however now that fever stopped he is still not himself etc and pale

took him to doctors to see if he had ear infetcion

i am kicking myself as didnt notice this before going to doctor who was very unhelpful and all he said was this is a normal baby with normal infection

well normal to me is not a baby vomiting 8 times a day and crying 22 nours a day and going blue!! and not sleeping for three nights

anyway back to thread - does your baby have two squishy areas at base/nape of behind of neck? was checking out for glands and behind ears towards centre of back of neck there are two (L and R) squisky areas that arent glands per se but more swollen and bigger in size??

dont think this is related to flu going away (i hope) so asking ...as obvious in profile that there is a swollen area on back of base of neck!!

If you are still concerned i think you should go to A&E to get him checked over there. That's what i would do anyway just to be on the safe side.Hope he feels better soon.

i would second the a and e i never took chances rather be looked apon as over cautious mum and get it checked out

whats the worst that can happen you can either find you were right to worry and glad you sort help when you did or find all is ok and glad you took dc

I would go to A&E with a baby that young especially if they have been blue.
