Hey does anyone take an SSRI plus amitriptilyne or gabapentin?

I have some nerve pain plus anxiety has increased lately so I was thinking of asking the dr to prescribe me one of the above to killl two birds with one stone. Only thing is, I'm already on a low dose of fluoxetine and have been for years

Tried both of them and they didn't work for me. Since been on pregabalin for 10 years which has helped take the edge off (both pain and anxiety). Think it's trial and error for each individual. For me a higher dose makes me nauseous /vomit/brain fog so needed to get a dose where by I could/can function but get some pain relief. You also have to give it some time for side effects to settle down, I ended up in bed for a week with nausea, vomitting, dizziness, brain fog. Basically spaced out. But worth it in the long run.
