Leaky bladder

Leakybladder · 17/09/2022 09:35

I’m 44 and my bladder has been weak for a few years.
At the moment I have a cough so I’m leaking multiple times a day. I have also noticed that this happens just after Ive been to the toilet so I don’t think my bladder empties properly. I don’t appear to have a UTI.
Is there anything that can be done about this?

Talk to your GP! Mine was surprisingly helpful and ended up referring me for some support from the community bladder people.

Yes! Don't just quietly buy some Tena Lady, go to your GP. There is a lot that can be done.

Google Elaine Miller and watch her video. She is a specialist physio and an expert on women's pelvic floor and menopause, bladder problems. Once you listen to her you will be able to speak to your GP with all the knowledge and information you need to get the right help.
