Rash on son and myself

Hello
Rash has appeared on son- at the top of his legs and around his groin, some spots on his tummy and under his arms

I've got five or six spots on my tummy

Son has had chicken pox- twice!
Any ideas what it could be?
Don't know whether to keep us off school/ work
We are okay in ourselves, no red flags like raised temperatures/ being sick, however I do feel a bit under the weather and very tired

Looks like bites. Do you have any pets ?

We have a dog. Didn't think of that, we do the monthly flea treatments. Right, off to check her now

Looks like flea bites to me.

I agree they look like bites.

If it is spot on flea treatment, it is not as effective on a dog that swims or gets wet in other ways (baths, heavy rains etc)

Oh God. The shame. Yes dog has fleas- I didn't even think of this as we treat her regularly.
Thanks everyone. The next few days will be spent washing carpets, bedding, dog and everything else...hurrah!
