I've had awfully itchy skin now for 6 weeks. Started off on shoulders and spread all over my body. No rash no dry skin not changed anything I've used. I saw my GP who have me antihistamines, they had no effect. They then gave me itch cream which did nothing. I've just been given antibiotics for a persistent cough too had this for 8 weeks but only at night. My chest is clear) saw the GP again who gave me a blood test. When I saw the nurse last week about my cough she said my blood test results were fine apart from the liver one which would explain the itching I've asked her to elaborate but she said the doctor will call me on the 15th. The itching is awful. Has anybody had anything like this? Or anything to help with the itch I could try? TIA
