Does the health visitor get you a replacement or just yell at you...

Ring your local clinic and they will give you a number to get a new one.

She gets a big book out marked bad mother and puts a tick by you're name, and you are sent to the back of the queue in disgrace.

auntiebetty · 23/01/2008 14:08

you have to give the kids back

OrmIrian · 23/01/2008 14:08

Your child disappears in a puff of red smoke of course!

I lost mine for DS#2. Didn't bother to replace it in the end. School did want it when he started but it didn't seem to matter that I didn't have one.

tiredemma · 23/01/2008 14:09

posieflump · 23/01/2008 14:09

the nurse seemed amazed I still had it when I took ds1's with us for his pre-school MMR booster.

the world implodes and life as we know it ceases to exist.
My eldest is 14 now. Not once have I ever needed it, not once has anyone else, since he was 3 years old.

i thought only pfb children had a red book beyond 6 months old
