My DH had a short fit earlier in the week. As it had all the markers for a seizure, he is being referred for tests, which should happen fairly quickly.
However, we have private medical insurance that kicks in if the referral is held up, which given the state of our local hospital might well happen and the GP is more than happy to refer.
Anyone have experience of a private neurological referral? Any recommendations?
We are equidistant from Liverpool and Manchester, so northwest.
