I'm posting for a friend who's ds had grommets fitted a few days ago. Does anyone know a good place to get some silicon ear plugs from, so she can wash his hair easily?

She can't get out into town, so she needs a mail order place, ideally one with fast shipping.

Cheers for any help you can give!

Believe it or not I had 3 with grommets and was told to use blutac, But only the main branded one you mold it in your hand to soften it and then make it to the shape of the inside of the ear. DO NO push it in just make sure it covers the inside of the ear it looks like a mini ear if you know what i mean when it is shaped. I used this for a few years with mine and even had to go to school to do it when they had swimming

Look for the Ear Bandit stuff - we use a putty ear plug thing and a neoprene head band for DD to swim in, and just the ear plugs for the bath. DD had grommets back in May and it took us about 2-3 weeks of using the plugs to be able to fully trust them, but that is down to experience as they really are very easy to use.
