Laparoscopy ovary removal - recovery?

I’m having an ovary removed laparoscopically at the same time as an endometrial ablation next week. Can anyone say how long it took them to recover? I’m a bit nervous because I’m already exhausted as I’m anemic (been on iron for a few months but my iron was incredibly low) and there’s a possibility that 5-6 days after the op I might be own my own with the DC a lot. How long before I can realistically do a steady 1 hour walk?

My friend had this and was ok pottering around at home but needed two weeks off work and felt more tired the second week.

I've had a laparoscopy and it knocked me sideways even though I was in my twenties.

I think you need to plan for feeling pretty ropey and if you don't that's great.

Thanks, that’s kind of what I expected but was hoping it might be a bit quicker!

Well it might be but I wouldn't bank on it. Hope it all goes smoothly x
