Fell of the middle of a slide and injured my back as a child

Very similar. Fell backwards off a helter-skelter shaped slide (small one, in a playground) and fractured my scapula.

More ridiculously, burned myself on a fridge. DCs frequently remind me!

As an adult at work I tripped over the step going into the station and face planted.

I looked like I'd done a few rounds with Tyson fury . I walked into my colleagues dripping blood everywhere and had to confess how it happened 😀

Turned over in bed and my hair tickled my face. I decided that (a) it must be a spider and (b) the correct response would be to punch it. Hard.

Dislocated my thumb photocopying.

Oh yes, and then there was the time I fell up the stairs while carrying an open box of pins, and then slid back down the stairs, through the pins that I'd thrown everywhere.

Broke my elbow in a revolving door. I had been sent from work to the office across the car park to collect a sack of post which had been sent to the wrong office, was too busy looking at a gorgeous man driving a convertible with no shirt on & didn't see someone coming out as I was going in & got my elbow trapped between the revolving door & the window panel.

Broke my finger making the bed

Got out of the car in a multi storey car park to go to drivers side to get the ticket for my mum as her window wouldn't wind down. I followed the car through the barrier. It came down on my head and knocked me out.

That made me cringe so much 😱

I managed to drop molten zinc (mp 420 degrees) on my fingernail when I was teaching a lesson. Had to wait until it solidified until I could peel it off, alongside most of the skin and fingernail around it.

My sister managed to weld her fingers to the elements of the grill. She had to wait until the grill had cooled down before she could pull her fingers off too.

Scratched my cornea with a ruler!! It bloody hurt & the GP sent me to eye clinic.

I was, i think, 12. Jumped from a really small height, on playing equipment (that I was admittedly too old for) and broke my leg. It wasn't a bad break, but a break nonetheless! It was Christmas Eve aswell! The ground was slippy so when I landed, my foot twisted underneath me. I laughed because I was embarrassed and I ran on it aswell (limping). Didn't think I'd broken it. Then when we got home my ankle swelled to the size of a tennis ball. My fibula was broken.

Broke my arm falling off the same set of Monkey bars 3 times.
As a young teen I was trying to deal with a wasp by waving it out of the house with newspaper, used my foot to open a glass door and put my foot through the glass taking a chunk out of my shin.

Snapped a finger tendon tucking in a bedsheet. Heard it snap and thought 'what was that?' (No pain at all) pulled hand out with one very floppy finger! Braced it and it totally repaired itself, never would have known it'd happened. The human body is amazing!

I broke my nose with a trampoline - after DD2 was born, I wanted to get back into shape, so bought myself a small rebounder trampoline. It folded in half for easier storage, although it never folded as easily as they made it look on the dvd that came with it!
One day I was wrestling with it trying to fold it back down and it suddenly snapped itself back up and smashed me in the face, leaving me with a very bloodied and broken nose.

Broke my toe doing a bunny hop on a bench in school

First day of senior school I breathed in to blow a wasp away from my face as my hands were full. Guess where it went 😱
