chiropractor and orthotics

Flamingosarentreal · 06/09/2022 00:30

my chiropractor has recommended that i have a gait scan and then buying orthotics.
The cynic in me says this is an upsell which i may not need.
I am happy with the chirporactor and the appointments i have had so far.
any one with experience of orthotics and gait scans who can recommend or otherwise?
Thanks

His professional judgement is probably sound, however, I wouldn't be getting orthotics from a chiropractor. Just go to a podiatrist!
I have some and they have solved a lot of problems for me- however, I'm now stuck with just trainers or walking boots and was just about to create a thread about this for autumn boots!! It's very frustrating and now I've got them and think they're great I can't go back , boring shoes for me..

I had a gait scan done by a physiotherapist who then made me orthotics.

They changed my life actually, no more foot pain.

I'm not I'd have gone to a chiropractor for them.
