Hope someone can help. My 3.6 year old dd took herself to bed at 5 pm (!) today (normal bedtime 8ish), hasn't eaten anything, nor really had much to drink since breakfast, claiming absolute exhaustion. Her face seems very swollen and she is fairly hot to touch, but not ridiculously so. Any ideas?! Should I be worried?

Mumps?

Tiggiwinkle · 22/01/2008 21:17

Sounds like mumps to me too. Has she had the MMR? (not that it is 100% effective so still could be mumps..)

She's had the MMR...!
Am baffled. She's got all her teeth - unless they get more than 20..?

I would check it with the doctor if no better tomorrow. As I said, the vaccinations are not 100%!

oh - thank you!
