Why do I keep doing this???

Over the past month I have lost count how many times I have bitten the inside of my cheek. When my teeth/jaws are closed, my cheek doesn't get involved but I now have, what I would describe as an oral skin tag on my inner cheek. I can see it has a white top to it when I look in the mirror as I brush my teeth.

I don't have any toothache either.

I did it again while I was eating my dinner a few minutes ago.

It hurts when I do it.

What would be causing me to do this???

Any ideas or suggestions on how I can reduce the yolk I have on my cheek???

I think the issue is, once you've done it the first time, your cheek swells up and you're more likely to bite it again! I've had periods of this too. The only thing you can do is just be really careful when you're chewing.
