I am 12 weeks post sepsis. I have been left with both physical and cognitive problems. Now today another set back, my hair is just falling out even just by touching it. I feel bad enough about my self image at the moment and now this. Has anyone found this problem and is there anything i can do?

sepsistrust.org/get-support/support/support-for-survivors/post-sepsis-syndrome/
hair loss is listed in the symptoms of PSS.

there is another (older) thread here too.

I had sepsis and lost my hair due to another reason. It's horrible and still have awful flashback to it.

I think just try and eat well and be kind to yourself retiring to health can take a while Flowers

This happened to me too about 4-5 months after I had sepsis. It's now about 8 months and everything has grown back, in fact maybe grown back a bit better (my hair is naturally very fine) so try not to worry. It's alarming but a recognized phenomenon and almost certainly temporary.

Lost most of my hair about 4/5 months after Sepsis.A year later it has largely grown back.No special treatment just the usual shampoo then conditioner.
Be kind to yourself, rest when you can and give your body healthy food 💐

When my hair was at its most absent it gave me a boost wearing some colourful hair loss turbans/hats. Found a nice selection on Amaz*n.
