Seems to be a lot of people asking about things like this.

As a CM this is what I give to all new parents.

that was what 'unlikely' referred to

I don't think that you can liken infection control (or gross lack of) in hospitals to normal, childhood, non life threatening contagious infections. I would like to stress the 'normal' there.
