Anyone develop neurological symptoms with iron deficiencym

Just that really. What other symptoms besides the obvious breathless and pale?

DD started wanting to eat ice cubes. Apparently pica is a side effect of iron deficiency.

Me! Although I have existing neurological issues, but they were exacerbated at the start of the year when my iron levels dropped. Main symtom was a feeling like RLS but without much of a compulsion to move, and my sense of taste went haywire as well. I was also extremely breathless and having major heart palpitations.

I get tingly hands and feet plus brain fog/tiredness when my iron is low, as well as dizzy spells. What are you experiencing? My GP was very clear that neuro symptoms need investigation before being attributed to anaemia as you can’t be sure until you’ve ruled out other things.
