Just blended my finger

Just fucking ouch. A moment of total stupidity and inattention trying to get dinner ready with a pre schooler and a baby. Lots of blood and multiple lacerations to the top of my finger all the way round. Stinging and throbbing like hell, I have this weird sickly feeling and coldness/numbness. Hand feels weak. Have a bandage on it - do I need to go to minor injuries or is that enough?

I think you should go to minor injuries yes. The numbness might just be shock but I think I would get it checked out to be sure.

Definitely walk in / minor injuries if only to get it cleaned & dressed properly.

Let someone know, preferably a neighbour that can be around straight away, you don't want to pass out while you're home alone with two little ones.

ibemotied out the shredder yesterday (still plugged in) part way through realised how fucking stupid this was. Fortunately the designers allowed for fucking idiots using it & it doesn't work without the collector drawer in!! Good luck not good management!!

I did this a few years ago, took the corner off my finger went to a&e to get it looked at. Had to have surgery on it, they took off my nail (luckily it grew back). I would defo get it looked at

I had to hold my finger up all the time otherwise the blood rushed to the end & hurt like hell

Agh, I’ve got the little ones and no adults till later. The bandage has staunched the bleeding - maybe tomorrow?
