I've injured my knee and it bloody hurts.
I've been advised by a physio (on Friday) that i need to speak to my GP and ask for a referral to orthopaedics who will do further tests and confirm what's wrong. Obviously the GP is closed until Tuesday now so I've just been trying to take it easy and get to Tuesday.
However it's getting worse. It's starting to make my whole leg sore now - I think because I'm struggling to walk and using other muscles to over compensate the pain in the knee.
Is there anything else I can do to speed up this referral? I'm still gonna have a wait time while I wait for orths to invite me to appointment but at least I'd be in the system if I can at least get a referral.
