Does extreme tiredness make you lightheaded?

Or is it post viral fatigue?

I had a bad cold two weeks ago and a mega cold sore. Luckily I had some acyclovir tablets still in date so took them. Thought it might have been the cold sore or even acyclovir but it's gone and I'm not taking the acyclovir anymore.

But no matter how much rest, sleep, caffeine, sugar, good food, multivitamin tablets I take I'm still woozy, light-headed almost but not quite dizzy?!

Are you low in iron?

Pinkblanket · 28/08/2022 21:55

Yes, when I am very tired I feel nauseous. I have always been like this.

LadyIckenham · 28/08/2022 22:02

Would second low in iron.
Alternatively, dehydrated or low blood pressure.

Does for me. Could also be post viral fatigue. If it lasts more than another couple of weeks I'd probably see the doctor.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome and if I overdo it, I get dizzy.

Did you have any sinus or ear symptoms at the time of the cold? I’ve had dizziness for weeks post Covid and finally some improvement after treating a fluid buildup in my inner ear (had no idea this was the issue but GP said it’s common).
