Breast pain. Normal?

I have started to get PMS type breast pain even when my period isn’t due. I’m in my 40s so wondering if it might be a perimenopause thing?

Or maybe it’s just that my boobs are pretty saggy!!? They’re big (32F) and I do get some back pain from them too.

Is this sort of month-round pain normal? It’s worse the week before my period, but I didn’t experience it month-round before.

I should also add - the pain is quite mild, I just notice it if I bump them or cross my arms over them. “Pain” is too strong of a word really - but it does feel like PMS boob ache!

I get that. It means your hormones are out of balance I think - low progesterone. If it’s a general achy swollen feeling all over it isn’t anything to worry about, just another crap part of being female.

You might also find you get migraines just before your period that’s another low progesterone thing.

That’s interesting! I wonder if that does mean perimenopause? I’ve been waiting for it! Ugh!
