I eat some cooked garlic king prawns out in a restaurant and they were bubbling hot when they arrived the pan was sizzling.
I enjoyed them.
I have IBS and I had a carbonara after as my main which would usually set off my ibs as it's rich and creamy.
I've had a couple of toilet trips this evening with loose stools. No other symptoms.
IBS or food poisoning?
I've googled md worries myself sick about toxins in prawns 🙈

I would guess, since you are something you know sets off your IBS, the most obvious answer is that it’s your IBS

Definitely IBS. Food poisoning is a hell of a lot worse than a few loose stools.

Food poisoning is unmissable.
I’ve had it once and thought I was a goner 😂 I was considering calling my mum to say goodbye….
Anyway, with what you’ve described, I would say a flare up. Some things give me a dodgy stomach at times but remember even if that’s the case with you this time, your body is just trying to get rid of it.

Hope you’re ok!
