Hot flashes

I am nearing 40 and I think I am definitely in peri menopause now. For the past few days I was experiencing an overheating or some hot flashes. I just feel hot. I checked my temperature and I don't have a fever. My temperature during the days and evenings this week is usually between 37.1 to 37.5.

It's not very hot where I am. Its 17 degrees.. I am beside the sea too so there is a nice cool breeze. Inside I am melting.

My clothes are getting damp with sweat. I am wesring tracksuit pants but I find them too heavy now to wear.

Are their any supplements to reduce hot flashes.

If you’re deficient in oestrogen- which is what peri menopause and menopause is- you need HRT to replace the oestrogen. See your Gp and they should be able to start you on it.

I am 41 and have been in early menopause since 37 due to autoimmune disease and I take oestrogel, utrogestan and the mini pill as HRT.

I read last week that hypnotherapy is just as effective at controlling hot flashes as hrt. I'm planning on doing both, cover all bases.
