Back pain that goes away when I wee

I keep waking up in the morning with lower back pains that go away after I wee. Sometimes the pain wakes me in the night then I go to the loo and back to bed then I'm fine (after a few minutes)

Even though I really have to go at these times my wee comes out in a trickle and i nearly have to strain to empty my bladder, I feel like I'm sitting on the toilet weeing for ages!

I have had 2 c sections and the surgeon told me I have severe adhesions - could be related?

I’d say you e git a UTI. Need to get tested.

KangarooKenny · 26/08/2022 06:42
  • you’ve got a UTI
NightCrow · 26/08/2022 06:46

UTI or kidney stones. Either way contact your local GP and get checked out.

I would get checked for a UTI but also consider stones or even shingles.

UTI or kidney infection. You need to see a Dr.

Kidney infection

Remaker · 26/08/2022 06:51

None of that sounds normal or pleasant. Don’t muck around - go and see a dr! I’ve had a kidney infection and it was horrendously painful.

DustinsHat · 26/08/2022 06:59

Sorry I should have said - I have no other symptoms? Weeing normally throughout the day, not feeling unwell or anything. This has been going on for a few weeks. Can you have a UTI and not be running to the toilet every 5 minutes?

Yes. When I had a UTI I started off with a funny feeling my bladder when I wee’d but that went away. Then I got back pain on either side and put two and two together. I didn’t feel ill or wee a lot.

Thanks everyone!

That lower back pain will be your kidneys. Uti or something wrong with your kidneys. Speak to GP, they'll probably give you some antibiotics

So I couldn't get a GP appointment today and the pains still there in my lower back now even when I've been for a wee. Still don't have any other symptoms like fever or anything like that, is this ok to leave until Monday? Might go away on its own before then?
