Dragging pain in one leg?

If I wasn't menopausal I'd swear it was period pains, well until this morning when it went down into my shin(!)

any suggestions what might be causing it; I won't be visiting the gp unless it lasts for a good while

Is it deep, and kinda warm? Might be referred pain from a compressed nerve in back. Google sciatica and treat your back very gently.

It isn't like the sciatica pain I have had before

It's dragging down and feels very crampy like period pain

But I'll do some exercise and see if that helps

Have you done anything different like new medication, exercise, gardening, something that might pull a muscle or a trapped nerve. Is yojr leg swollen at all, can you wriggle your toes.

Nope nothing new as far as I can remember (menopausal so memory is hot!)

No swelling, toes all wriggling and happy

Varicose veins?

Would you be able to see varicose veins? Dont think so

I'm thinking sciatica.as my shin pain is now like a cramp that I can't stretch

And most of last night my muscles were doing little cramps/spasms! Oh it was weird!

So I'll have some bananas (potassium) and maybe up my magnesium supplements do some extra yoga

Anything else that might help? I have a hellishly busy weekend ahead

Have you thought about seeing a Physio ?

I was at a physio yesterday morning about my other knee, it started after!

I won't get another appt before I go - I spoke to my brother who added ice into my magnesium/potassium/yoga plan but that's going to be tricky in a caravan without a fridge
