Vegetarians and Vegans: tell me about your poop.

After a bout of tummy bug sickness I was looking at the Bristol Stool Chart. I'm a vegetarian normally but am dairy free at the moment due to BFing with a CMPA baby. For as long as I remember, I've had stool type 6, which apparently could suggest something wrong but I don't think so!

Vegetarians and vegans: please choose your poop to reassure me that I'm not weird.

It depends if I'm being a 'good' vegetarian or a 'bad' vegetarian. Usually 3. Occasionally 5 or a 2 if I've not been drinking enough water.

RaininSummer · 24/08/2022 07:52

Mainly 3 or 4. Not what I expected to be posting over breakfast.

lochmaree · 24/08/2022 08:08

4, 5 or 6

catwomando · 24/08/2022 08:17

Mainly 4 but sometimes a 6

asnoot · 24/08/2022 08:30

3 usually, but 5 or 6 if I've had a junky couple of days. Though, even when I'm eating consistently well and getting 3s, I still tend to only go every other day.

Vegetarian here and I'm a 5...

DumDeeDoh · 24/08/2022 19:53

Vegan, usually 3 or 4 when eating lots of fresh fruit and veg, 5 or 6 when eating too much sugar and crisps.

How interesting (thank goodness for the internet to ask these kinds of intrusive questions) I swear the more fruit and veg I eat the more liquids it goes!

I'm not veggie but I don't eat much meat compared to most meat eaters. Also practically dairy free and with a diagnosis of IBS. I'm mostly a 6.
