Migraine or something else

I've had a splitting headache since Friday and have been throwing up today with constant nausea and blinding pain. Painkillers don't touch it. I've managed to get a doctors appointment for tomorrow. How likely is it just to be a migraine and if so what can the doctors actually do? I can't concentrate so am off work. Can't watch TV or read. Any advise?

If they agree it's a migraine, they can give you triptans to kill the pain which can be amazing. Have you had this happen before?

I'd phone 111 for . Not wanting to scare you, my husband had a splitting headache but with visual disturbances and it turned out to be something quite serious. If you have migraines and this is different to normal please also get it checked out.

I occasionally get migranes but they are short hours with numbness .This is different. Never had triptans will they help?
