So I went to the Doctor about an odd growth on the back of my hand that has got bigger and started bleeding. He did a 2 week referral to Dermatology which I had today. I was seen by a plastic surgeon who said he didn't know what it was so they will remove it and find out. He then drew a lot if blue dots around it and sent me to have it photographed. That was it for today and I will apparently be contacted about the appointment to have it removed. I never think fast enough to ask questions at the time so does anyone know:
- roughly how long will it be until it gets removed I.e am I looking at waiting days/weeks/months
- can I wash off the blue dots or are they to help the person removing it?
