111 call back

I know 111 are busy. They haven't called back yet past when they said they would. Will they call any time during the night?

If they do call back it could be at any time. We've been called at 3am before.

They may not call back at all if too busy.

I phoned a few months ago.. i was told needed to speak to gp before next dose of meds.. I had to call back in the morning and got a call back 30 minutes later

It was a good few years ago the last time I called, was told at 5pm to expect a call back within 4 hours and they called at 4.30am.

If anything has changed give them a call back.

I spoke to 111 one night at around 8pmand was told the OOH GP would call me back within the hour. Given how busy they are I was guessing it would actually be a few hours. Actually called me back about 1am. But they did sort the problem!
