Good for him! Be fair - its a very delicate area - at least he's done the decent thing - there are plenty out there who won't.

I'd pamper him for the weekend.

Do they still have to wear tight undies these days? dh had it done yonks ago and they did then

Very = lots of sympathy

I'd give him perhaps as much sympathy as you got post-birth. Or maybe a bit less since his is nothing compared to what you went through (AND perhaps more than once!).

DH gave blood quite soon after I'd given birth - he went with my mum and he fainted. Mum was cross with my lack of sympathy - I just laughed - but compared to what I'd just done, having a bit of a needle in your arm was nothing!
