Cramps (period type) throughout month

For the last couple of months I have been experiencing period type pains and soreness throughout the month.

It is lower abdomen and then sometimes tender around pubic area.

I am 43 and have regular periods. My cycle is around 24 days.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts?

Could it be ovulation cramps? Any signs of menopause?

I'm guessing not as it's been a couple of months, but any chance you could be pregnant? I sometimes get period cramps when my IBS flares up.
