Friend is a bloke
He has a swollen sore red lump around his nipple it's hurting a fair bit. It's almost impossible to get an appt to be seen here especially around work.
Any advice?

OP I'm sorry if this is serious, just made me chuckle the nature of the post coming to a mostly female forum, asking a question on behalf of a male friend. Surely there are better forums for this

Worst case scenario , men get breast cancer too.

Sux2buthen · 10/08/2022 12:02

@NippyWoowoo I was more asking if anyone knew of any creams or anything that might help.
He's not on Mumsnet (can't think why) so I said I'd ask
Obviously he's going to attempt to get it looked at but I'm the meantime it's just hurting a bit so worth asking

Go to the GP and say it's an emergency. Men get breast cancer too and any change in the nipple needs investigated.

It's hopefully nothing but needs checked

Sux2buthen · 10/08/2022 12:50

Thanks that's what I said too.

Sore and red more likely to be an infection? Go doctors !

A pharmacist, in a pharmacy with a consultation room, will also take a look.

Good point about the pharmacist.
