What is wrong with me?

I am 32 years old, every day I wake up exhausted, very little energy and feel so achy. I have regular headaches, neckache and a recent new pain in on of my finger joints.

I feel like I should be in my prime but I could sleep 24/7. I eat well (porridge and nut butter for breakfast, salad with some type of protein for lunch and always a home cooked meal for dinner with meat and veg such as stir fry, curry etc etc) I walk my dog at least once a day and used to do more exercise but struggling to find the energy now.

I have had blood tests and they are all normal. Do I just accept this as my life?

Get a print out of your blood test results so you can see exactly what has been tested and how your ‘normal’ figures compare to the lab reference ranges. There are results that have a really low reference range in the U.K. meaning they may be marked as normal but you could still be symptomatic eg ferritin, B12, Vitamin D (which is not even be routinely tested)
Thyroid is often ‘normal’ or borderline but can cause problems. If you get a copy and post a copy (obscuring your details) there are some really knowledgeable people in general health who may be able to advise.

I read Something last year which said many women suffer symptoms when ferritin is below 50. In our hospital our labs ‘normal’ range is between 15-400. I imagine someone would feel a huge difference if they were at the lower end rather than the top end of normal.

Do you usually eat quite low carb? That can really affect energy in some people and cause headaches. If your electrolytes are low due to low carb, that could be causing issues.
