Laxido and piles

I’ve had piles on and off since I had my youngest….she is 12 now 😩.

i have periods where they don’t bother me, then they flare up. It doesn’t help that since I’ve hit perimenopause, constipation is a constant battle.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I was going to deal with this from all angles, so I bought laxido and like magic, I was pooing most mornings without straining and my stools were just as they should be. I also started using Anusol suppositories and cream. Piles shrinking, pooing regularly and I’m thinking I am winning!
All too good to be true of course as I now have a really sore bum hole….started to wonder if I had a fissure as well as piles and I’m not going to lie, having a bit of a panic that something is really badly wrong.

Have just read the Laxido leaflet and low and behold, one of the most common side effects is a sore anus. Anyone else had this after using laxido?
Am thinking I perhaps need to really concentrate on diet and perhaps use fybrogel if I’m bunged up.

The joys of getting older eh!
