Can you drink with antibiotics Tomorrow is the brighton meetup and I am on bloody antibiotics.What will happen if I skip tomorrows dose and start again Sunday,I feel fine in myself

Afaik, it's only flagyl/metronidazole that's contraindicated with alcohol.

suedonim is right- if you're not taking metronidazole, you're fine to drink. DON'T skip doses, whatever you do.

the antibiotics will not work prperly or you will feel nauseus. it depends on what you're taking and I'm not a doctor but that's the philosophy I'm following.

I don't know if you're also taking the pill but just in case you do and forgot just a reminder to use extra protection whilst on antibiotics (and 7 days afterwards depending on the type of pill). I nearly forgot this one last time I was on antibiotics and got quite scared so now I remind everyone

thanks everyone I have phoned boots and they said fine in moderation no effect on the potency but may feel sick so won't overdo it
