I have heard of it as friend in ireland has it called nuvaring but as far as i know not licensed for use in the uk

Ohhh I've not heard anything about these in years.

Do they still make them?

A ring pessary that was imprgnanted with progesterone (? think it was only porgesterone) that sat round the neck of the cervix. Replaced on a regular basis, can't remember the interval.

Haven't seen anything about them is ages. Overtaken by the progesterone IUD I think.
