Hi, at my wit's end over TSH levels going up for last 18 months from 4.7 to 7.5 most recently, lost more than an inch from my hair line and have eyebrow loss/hideous skin and now my nails are splitting and denting. Skin seems to have lost all collagen recently. I'm on HRT (gel and mirena coil) for the last 2.5 years, and all my hair problems etc. started after the first year of that. Also, weird thing is I've lost 5kg in the past year and I do low carb and exercise but still find it a bit bizarre that I'm at my lowest ever adult weight despite the faulty TSH production. My boobs disappeared, from full 34c to scant 32b. Oh, and lots of unwanted facial hair, wth. Anyone know a good London endo for all this? I'm 52. I'm also ANA positive and have some other autoimmune markers but already saw a dermatologist (unfortunately just before the hair loss started) and a rheumatologist who told me to see an endocrinologist.
