Does anyone know what the likelihood is that these braces can be used without the need for extractions? Any dentists around with experience with them? Thanks

Not an orthodontist but whether or not extractions are needed depends on your degree of crowding and jaw relationship not the brace type. There is only so far the orthodontist can expand to get stable results.
I had Damon they were great, much reduced pressure compared to traditional brackets.

There is some info on various websites which claim extractions can usually be avoided with Damon. I read typically extractions are needed 40-70% of the time normally. But with Damon it’s 10-20%
also read an old thread on here where someone’s child was offered standard brace with extraction or Damon without extraction. I just was curious if anyone else had experience with them so have booked consultation with orthodontist for a few weeks time so we find out more info then

Ds had them and didn't need extractions. I think it's to do with the teeth rather than the braces used.
