DH health - possible diagnosis

DH is somewhat of a hyperchondriac, but also has several physical problems running alongside that the Dr's seemed happy with but has just got blood results and is worried as the GP thinks there could be "something sinister".

He tells me his results showed issues with :-

Serum c reactive protein level

Bone profile

Serum iron

Liver function

Urea electrolytes

Low hb

Awaiting results of abdominal scan, chest x-ray, poo sample and awaiting ct scan.

At the moment I'm thinking if it is something bad at least they've caught it, but I really do cope better if I have an idea what it is and can get my head around it before supporting DH and DC.

Does anyone know from that list what they're expecting to find?

Tia

That is quite a wide range of tests and we don't know which other tests he has had. You will have to wait. The GP will have a list of possible diagnoses in their mind and will be looking at various clues to make best sense of things.

Thanks @yikesanotherbooboo i know I'm probably being unreasonable wanting to guess. I guess it's dawning on me that it could be really serious and I cope better with a bit of a plan in place.

Btw - the long list is things the GP identified as wrong with the bloods, not things he's testing for. Not sure if that was clear in my OP.
