LIbia Cyst

Hi bit of a funny topic woundered if anyone els has this ?
Shaved a little down there .
then 4 days later a small lump appeared , thought it was shaving bump {still think that had something to do with it as didnt have it before}.
Got a bit swollen down there so went to Doctors who had a look and said just a cyst leave alone and shpould go in few weeks , think its a little better been having boiling hot baths twice a day to see if that helps .
Anyone els had same thing ? just want it to go

Whereabouts is the cyst? I had a bartholin's cyst, which is basically a cyst on the gland that produces vaginal lubrication (tmi!). It's actually located inside the vaginal wall, just inside the opening, but if it gets irritated, it swells and feels as though it is outside, on the labia (iyswim). Did he mention this to you, at all?

No they didnt, But read a bit on line ,its just inside the outer libia lip , not inside (dont think?) can see small bump and a bit of swelling on the left lip, if that makes sense ?have you had one before ?

i have had these on and off for years - i find the best way to treat is salt baths and making sure that pubic hair is kept well trimmed (tmi )

however, don't suffer for too long, if a few days of salt baths and looser knickers dosn't work go to the gp. antibiotics are sometimes needed. i have also had a fairly large stubborn one removed, it only took a few minutes and one small stitch, not comfy but it was worth the embrassement

Thanks , had it for 2 weeks so will give it another week and hope it goes ,comfort to know im not alone, beenhaving hot baths ,will put salt in and see.

Had one due to ingrown hair hurt like hell went to the gp got a cream dried up within 2 days.

I think mine maybe the same as i didnt have it when i shaved down there , then 4 days later it arrived ? doesnt hurt much though , been taking salt baths to try to help , the swelling i think is going down as im not trying to squeeze it anymore.

I had the same. Doctor said it was common in women who shaved or waxed. You get an ingrown hair and it gets infected. Nothing to worry about she said

yes went to see the nurse and she said the same ,just wish it would go , nice to know im not the only one ,dont think i will shave again , well not for a while ,
