Anyone else have a slow pulse rate?

Have been monitoring my blood pressure recently as GP is thinking about starting me on meds for it as it is very high.

Anyway, somtimes I get dizzy so I've been taking my blood pressure to see if it's related. My BP is still the same but my pulse was 55. It is usually about 68-70.

Is this too low?

have you had your thyroid checked. My pulse used to be about 55 until i got put on thyroxine, now 65-75

I did have an overactive thyroid a couple of years ago and then my pulse was 105!!

But it was treated and I have a check every six months and it's okay. Did you get dizzy when it was low?

no, just got used to it. I do get dizzy spells due to sinus/ear probs
