Last period was about a fortnight ago. I have a coil fitted. I sometimes get a twinge with ovulation, but I am feeling "due on" style cramps and feeling sick with it.

To be pregnant I would be showing symptoms at a whole 5 days max since conception, and it will have beaten my coil, so I am thinking unlikely

Wee smells fine (you love it when I share don't you?), slightly dischargey but healthy stuff iykwim.

I am more rounded looking too, but I have been eating my body weight in cheese balls so that could be to blame there

Any reasons you can think of for weird random cramps? Paracetamol hasn't done much.

(Oh, and because when DD says she has tummy ache and I always reply "Have you had a poo?" Yes, I have )

tummyache and feeling sick?
norovirus maybe?
Sorry I don't have any more suggestions!

batterymum · 16/01/2008 20:41

my ovulations are usually painful but I have never had a coil so I can't say if they make them more painful.

I do feel nauseous with it sometimes and have that metallic taste. I find I can still eat and the nausea passes as long as I am not nearing to hunger.

ok i had similar symptoms to this and am still going though it now..i went to doctors he tooks swabs. Found out i have an infection, which is apparently very common if you have the coil.

chacha3 · 16/01/2008 20:44

other symptoms of mine is swollen belly and yucky brownish discharge. Go and see doc get yourself checked out hun

Maidamess · 16/01/2008 20:45

I think the 'bodyweight in cheese balls' may have somehting to do with it (LOL) Your guts are probably putting up a fight.

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 20:54

The cheese balls were over Christmas

Did norovirus over xmsa too

Will get checked out for infection

Wish you hadn't mentioned cheese balls. You've reminded me that I got some in which we didn't eat at Christmas, but I'm already on the chocolate fingers .

FlameNFurter · 16/01/2008 21:54

I'm blocking too well for period vibes

Have taken two co-dydramol (just risking the reaction) and it still hurts

Your B was broke well before I touched it

Can coils dislodge? sorry, doesn't sound nice...

FlameNFurter · 17/01/2008 15:59

I'm feeling much better today, a bit achey bit not pain as such. I think it must have been really strong ovulation or summat.

I checked for the coil strings, and all seems nromal there so I am hoping it hasn't shifted.
