Has anyone had a stool sample analysed for gut health, parasites etc?

I’m really interested in this. I follow Tim Spector on social media and I’m on the waiting list to have my stool sample analysed. I wonder if anyone has paid to have this done elsewhere and whether they’ve found it useful?

No I wouldn't. If you are ill, your GP will do this if it is necessary.

Yes I did. Everything came back as normal except one thing (it was years ago and I can't remember the name of the thing). I got really anxious until I looked it up and it basically meant there were traces of the antibiotics I had recently taken.
