Does ice or ice lollies help you with sore throat

That's what the doctor advised for my toddler and read that in the Internet to however I personally have found that it makes it worse ... does it help you?

Yes I definately find the coldness helps soothe and numb the area.

Depends on the sort of pain. The ‘barbed wire’ sort of pain then ice definitely helps to numb it, a bit raspy from having a cold - warm drinks.
