Has anyone had the Zio XT heart monitor patch on the nhs?

Hi,
just wondering if anyone else has had the heart monitor stick-on patch on the NHS and what their experiences are?

I had one for two weeks a while ago, sent it back almost a month ago and have heard nothing since! Can’t find any information about when or how I should be contacted about the results or who I should contact to ask!

I’m going to try phoning the cardiology dept today but was wondering if anyone else could share their experiences.

Yes I have had two Zio patches this year!

The first in March which took six weeks for the cardiac nurse to call me back (that patch was only 7 days). So because it didn't capture an 'episode' it only captured single ectopics I have just finished a 14 day one.

I think cardiology have quite long waiting times and if your patch isn't showing anything concerning then there will be a wait.

You could call the main number and ask for cardiology and query it? Did you post yours back? X

My teen daughter had one two years ago, we received a letter from her cardiolgist with the results. If i remember rightly it was about a month after i sent it back.

Thanks for replying! I've phoned the cardiology dept and they've said it's been processed so that's good to know, not lost in the post! But I have to wait for it to reach the top of the cardiologists to-do list I guess.
