Hello,

Can anyone recommend an affordable clinic where I can get an adult ADHD Assesment? I'm based near Milton Keynes, or if there's anywhere that does virtual assesments?

Thanks!

Sorry can't help specifically. However have you asked your GP? When we were facing a long waiting list for dc asd assessment the gp gave me a leaflet with recommendations. Also thinks about contacting a local or national adhd charity who may be able to advise /recommend. Hope you find someone.

Thank you, GP has said the waiting list is 2 years and haven't been given any other information.

Have a look at psychiatry-uk.com/ If your GP is co-operative the wait for NHS patients is less than two years.

Have you looked at the ADHD foundation. They are a great organisational and provide assessment services too.

My experience with the "ADHD Certify assessment" was really positive. First, I filled out screening forms, and then had a session with the online who was very friendly, understanding, and supportive I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts.
The report arrived quickly, with clear details about my symptoms and recommendations. Overall, the process was smooth and stress-free.

How much did it cost? Were you diagnosed as having ADHD? X

A few months ago, I’d heard about it from a few people and was a bit unsure at first, but I decided to go ahead and get the assessment done. Yes, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I used their instalment option it came to around £11 per month with the offer they had on. The whole process was really smooth and stress-free. x
