I’ve just been on a medical odyssey with my teenager including a week in the virtual spaceship that is the high dependency neurosurgical ward.
My fantasy is MRI-interpretation and analysis software that flags possible issues and alerts radiographers to confirm. Plus a top-of-the-range MRI machine in every GPsurgery.
my second fantasy is automated eye exams plus interpretation software in every surgery (next to the mri machine).
Imagine how much happier GPS would be if they could rule out tumours for pennies every time..... never have to know that they’d missed that headache that was the 1/100 brain tumour
also, robot surgeons for every neurosurgical team. So no one has to say “we should operate today but I can’t safely go near you I’ve been awake for 36 hours”
anyone else?
